Job Summary:
The Legal Recruiting Manager plays a critical role in shaping the firm’s early‑career talent pipeline by leading innovative outreach, candidate engagement, and selection strategies that reflect the firm’s values and long‑term hiring priorities. Partnering with the Director of Legal Recruiting, the Manager drives a high‑quality law student recruitment process and oversees a best‑in‑class summer associate program. This role sits within the Talent Team and requires a professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Director of Legal Recruiting to design and execute recruiting strategies for law students and early‑career legal talent.
- Coordinate outreach to target law schools, manage OCI logistics, and maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with law school career services professionals to strengthen the firm’s presence and brand.
- Maintain recruiting timelines, track outcomes, and ensure consistency in hiring materials, messaging, and candidate experience.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of program materials in partnership with the Marketing Team.
- Ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding, reinforcing a positive and cohesive candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of three years of legal recruiting experience in a law firm environment
- Experience with Suited, Lawcruit, viRecruit, FloRecruit, and iManage
- Advanced technological proficiency, including expert use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to leverage recruiting systems, data, and tools to enhance and continuously improve existing procedures and processes
- Proven success managing recruitment or talent programs, particularly early career or campus hiring initiatives
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of seniority while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently
- Strong client-service orientation with the ability to engage effectively with attorneys, candidates, and external partners
- High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information
